Wallstreet Bailout Bag

As I was watching wallstreet go crazy yesterday, I pulled out this fabric.  I have used this fabric in the past a bit.  So I mindlessly mixed and matched my blues and browns and before you know it, I felt the stress of the financial crisis leaving my body and my mind.   It was chicken soup for my soul yesterday, this familiar fabric I love so much.   Take a trip over to my website and see what you think.  www.KeetaCollection.com

What are you doing to keep sane in these times?  Any creative comforts?

Cosmetic Bags Galore

Cosmetic Bags Galore

I couldn’t get these cute KeetaCollection cosmetic bags packaged up quick enough!  They appeared to be like gremlins.  At every turn there were more bags popping up.  It was funny at first, but became downright freaky to see so many of those little buggers all over.
My sister in law of BidwellBotanicals.com  ordered these cute cosmetic bags.  I am not sure what her plans are yet, but as she does everything first class, I am sure it will be quite a treat.   Be sure to check her site frequently to see what her plans are!

My First Etsy Treasury!

My First Etsy Treasury!

I have been wanting to snag a treasury on etsy.  AND I DID!  All I had to do was create a theme in my mind, find twelve perfectly wonderful items to post, locate three alternate but equally as special handmade goodies in case the first twelve sold,  create a title that would make people want to click on my treasury,  and then arrange it all in a beautiful fashion.  Sounds easy enough, right.  HA.  I must have had twenty windows open on my screen.  There I was,  clicking all over the place while my daughter was instant messaging me and my husband eating behind me (yes, can you believe it, he had the nerve to stand in the kitchen and eat a few crackers and cheese while I was in the midst of a treasury crisis)   Well you can be sure he was in trouble for that bit of snacking!  haha Poor guy.
But in the end, I did it.  I made a treasury I am proud of and want to share it with you.  If I get a few thousand clicks, maybe it will make it to the front page of Etsy.com.  😉   So feel free to get in there and click away.   Be sure to click on each little item!

This little fob went “free, free, free” all the way home. Maybe to your home?  Haha even I am laughing, that has got to be the corniest thing I have ever written!
Not that I am trying to push my daughters http://www.puppydogsnpolkadots.etsy.com  shop  anymore… ok, I am pushing.   But she was featured on the prettiest blog.

This evening I posted a few bags on etsy.com  and as usual I got sidetracked by all of the beautiful items handcrafted by the many talented artist on etsy.

First, look at this hat, can you imagine a little one tucked up under the acorn?  I sure can!

This bowl caught my eye right away.  I can see it on display all year, not just in the fall.
And finally, these fall leaf coasters.  I am still amazed at the talent of these people.

Even though we probably won’t see a swirl of fall leaves until well after Christmas, I am feeling fall.  Every fabric I take out to design with becomes another imaginary leaf in that pile.  Look on my site   to see my latest creations.  http://keetacollection.com
