It’s time to update my daily deal. Actually, way past time. I have this cinch sack listed for a wonderful price. These Amy Butler fabrics are delicious. Not to mention, polka dots tend to make me happy! I have had great feedback from Moms on the cinch sacks. I love the fact that I can pile everything into the bag and go.

Once upon a time, I used a fabric lovingly nicknamed Mod Dots. The mod dots bags were being snagged up from Florida to California. It was a sad day for me when I came to the end of the dots. There were only scraps to be found. This was the beginning of the bags I now refer to as strip bags. A bag based on one 2″ strip of mod dots fabrics. Eventually I had to tell my customers there was NO MORE to be found.
Fast forward two years as I walk through the local fabric shop and spot a bolt of the dots. I looked around to see if there were cameras on me to capture the moment. It was like a scene in a movie – you know the one in the field with the two lovers running towards each other. Just me and my mod dots! I know, I am probably creeping you out at this point… haha. Well, now I have the fabric and not too much time to play with it. But I did make a messenger bag for a special young girl, and I have taken a couple of special orders as well. Ah the mod dots….
It’s been a couple of crazy days in Florida waiting to see what the storm has in store for us. I think a little stress reduction is in order. This scrumptious sugar scrub by BidwellBotanicals.com is the yummiest. I have been hoarding this particular scent, secretly waiting for my daughter to go back to school… I share a lot of things, but not this! Sorry Corri!
How can we go from this
to waiting for a hurricane in one day. Over the weekend we took a crazy and relaxing trip to Crescent Beach, Florida. It was our first visit there, and hopefully not our last. What a great area! Just a short drive away from St. Augustine, this beach is beautiful.
We will wait for the storm, with fingers crossed that this one will not turn into a hurricane.
My latest custom creation, a full set for the little chick bag. I get some kind happy Martha Stewart satisfaction from making the whole set. Burp cloths, changing pad and diaper wristlet… its just all too cute. Wonder what cute little baby this set is for?
